During a trip to Palestine in 2005, Banksy painted nine stencils on the Israeli West Bank Barrier (a barrier that was built by the Israelis to help protect themselves against supposed Palestinian terrorism). Perhaps the most famous of these is this Finding Paradise' stencil. The image shows two small children digging a hole in the wall in an attempt to access the paradise that is shown to be on the other side. The image captivates the feeling of anger that is present on the Palestinian side of the wall Banksy reported that one man even said "You're making the wall look beautiful. We don't want it to be beautiful, we hate this wall. Go home."
